.5 oz lemon juice strained
1.5 oz mezcal
.5 oz elderflower liqueur
Lemon twist
Chilled Sparkling Wine
Ice
In a cocktail shaker combine 1.5 oz mezcal, .5 oz. fresh lemon juice, and .5 oz. Elderflower liqueur. Add ice cubes and shake vigorously until well chilled, about 20 seconds. Strain into a chilled glass of your choosing, (we love @loq Datura glassware) and top with 2 oz. dry sparkling wine. Garnish with a lemon twist.
This is a cocktail I love to have during happy hour in celebration of spring. The citrus is still gorgeous and the mimosas are still blooming. Fill your home with Camellias and enjoy a glass.
